How Our Guarantee Works

1. Receive & Try On

Take your time with your new garment. Wear it around the house. Check the fit against what you expected.

2. Tell Us What's Wrong

Tap “I Have an Issue” within 30 days of delivery (90 for a fault), pick the item and tell us what's off. A couple of photos help.

3. We Make It Right

You see your options straight away — a remake, an alteration or credit — and choose the one you want.

4. Profile Updated

Your measurement profile is refined for future orders. Most customers are dialed in after one round.

What's Covered

Every situation is different. Here's how we handle the most common ones.

A detail isn't as you ordered — wrong collar, pocket or monogram — or it isn’t the fabric you ordered, or there's a construction fault or fabric flaw. We remake it free, you keep the original, and we pay shipping.

Prefer a free alteration instead, or credit toward your own tailor? That's your call.

Washed as its care label says and it shrank more than it should? We remake it free, cut with a little extra allowance, or give you credit toward your own tailor.

On your first order, your first remake is free. On later orders, or for a second remake, a remake is 50% of the price.

Jackets, suits and coats are altered first, with prepaid shipping both ways, and remade only if alteration can’t reach the fit. If a fit miss turns out to be ours, it’s free on any order.

Changed your mind on a detail, or it's past 30 days? We alter it at our standard prices (from $20, plus shipping), or remake it at 50%.

It's as described, but not what you pictured in person? We'll remake it in another fabric of the same price at 50%. (Order $1 swatches first if you'd like to feel it.)

Our ready-to-ship pieces can be returned unworn within 15 days for a full refund, or swapped for another size, which we ship free.

Essentials, our entry-level Fit-Test shirt and trousers, are made to measure: the cases above apply to them, not this 15-day return.

Claims within 30 days of delivery (faults: 90 days).
A garment altered by another tailor is no longer covered.
Each garment can be remade up to three times: twice under the Fit Guarantee, as above, and a third time at 50% of its price. Once a garment has been remade twice, if it was our mistake, a fault or shrinkage, you can have a refund of everything you paid for it instead (once it’s back with us); for a fit issue, store credit for everything you paid for it, valid for 12 months.

Common Questions

Within 30 days of delivery (90 days for a fault). The sooner you reach out, the sooner we can get your fit sorted.

A remake ships about 10 business days after you approve it, plus delivery.

For most remakes, no — keep the original; it's useful for comparing. An alteration needs the garment back: jackets, suits and coats (which we alter first) travel on prepaid labels both ways, and so does anything that was our mistake or a fault. For other fit alterations you cover shipping each way, or it’s free when combined with your next order.

For fit issues, we need photos of you wearing the garment — front, back, and both sides. For defects, close-ups of the problem area. Good lighting and a neutral background help us assess accurately.
